As a player or relative in Tromsø or Harstad
As a participant in our self-help groups, you become part of a community that understands what you are going through. All participants are bound by confidentiality and everyone comes exactly as they are.
Help for self-help
In the groups, you'll meet people who recognize the cravings, thoughts, and consequences of gaming taking up too much space. It makes it easier to be honest – even about things you may not have shared with anyone else.
By sharing experiences, supporting each other, and finding new ways to cope with everyday life, the group becomes a place where you can regain your footing. Many describe the community as providing motivation, hope, and direction.
It's a great help to be able to come to the meetings and talk to so many nice people about both life and addiction.

Characteristics of gambling addiction
Many of the characteristics of gambling addiction are only experienced internally by the gambler, so it can be challenging to see the signs from the outside.
To help you as a relative, we have put together a list of danger signs that you can look out for.
